Sometimes looking cute on vacation is such a challenge. I have to meticulously plan my outfits, or I'll never have enough clothes (or shoes). Then, you don't have access to your accessory closet and I never pack all my normal beauty products. Then add in cold(ish) weather like we had on this vacation and jet lag, and it makes it nearly impossible to look in the mirror and feel great. To combat all those factors, I plan my outfits and bring versatile pieces like this striped turtleneck that can also be worn under a blazer with skinny jeans. A hat is a great accessory, since I rarely bring my curling iron on vacation. And a few statement jewelry pieces, (not the precious ones though) like this Victoria Emerson bracelet can take a blah outfit to the next level. I thought this casual fall outfit came together rather nicely, and I can see myself rocking this look all over the Hudson Valley apple orchards this month!
