I'm a Vespa Girl

Let me tell you a little bit about this bike of mine.  Ever since studying abroad in Italy I knew it was my mission to own a one of these cute little scooters.  I moved to New York and lived the young, fabulous and broke life.  Buying a Vespa wasn't even a blip on my radar with my starting salary in the fashion industry.  I thought to myself that when I have the means to buy a Vespa, I have made it!  Flash forward five years, I took a motorcycle safety class on Easter in the pouring rain to get my license, and I made my dreams come true!  I found her on Craigslist and next thing I know I was the proud owner of this black beauty with all her glory and her cute little trunk!  This bike has been hands down the best thing I've ever purchased.  Riding it around the city when I lived there made errands seem painless and my commute not only tolerable but, enjoyable!  I love to share this baby with anyone that will hop on and take a ride.

These days my Vespa mostly takes me to the train station  and back home, but makes for an extremely affordable second vehicle for our family.  I don't know how much long I will have this bike in my life, but for the moment, I get to feel a little like a dude who just bought his midlife crisis convertible as I cruse threw downtown Peekskill.
