Brimfield Excursion

Last week the Sak design team was lucky enough to take a inspirational shopping excursion to the Brimfield Flea Market in Massachusetts. Our hotel was a little cheesy, but oh-so-sweet. The setting was beautiful! It was on a little lake, if we only had time to take out the paddle boats.

Of course we didn't have time because the market was endless. So much to look at and drool over. I wish I were in the market for furniture, because there were some AMAZING pieces.

Racks and racks of vintage gems.

Of course I love my colored glassware.

Here we are toting our treasures home.

We brought back some inspiring things for work, but I also made a few personal purchases.

A sweet dressing gown from 1930's, the perfect little globe to pull together the office, the most perfect driving gloves for my new toy, a Lily Pulitzer style maxi skirt from the 60's and a cotton boho dress. The dress and the dressing gown came from my favorite booth, Haunted Closet. I could have taken home at least three more pieces from them.
