I've had this poppy printed fabric for years and haven't come up with the right way to use it, until one of my favorite trends came along, printed shorts. I did my best to scallop the hem (way harder than it looks) and I finished the top with simple grosgrain. So comfy and sweet, I love them!
I found this next DIY via Pinterest (follow me!), I'm quickly discovering it's an AMAZING source for project ideas. I made this simple covered tray out of a cookie that was damaged anyway and some spare fabric, you may recognize the fabric from an old project I took on.
I also found the next DIY on Pinterest. I made this cute leather ottoman out of sample leather skins we had floating around the office.
The final DIY of the day, chain and rhinestone bracelets, I found on Everything Fabulous. My friend Katie and I each made two and gave the second to each other. Total cost for four bracelets was about $30 and took only about an hour to make two.
