Copenhagen was hands down the favorite city we visited this trip to Europe. The charming and colorful buildings won me over immediately. This fist photo is of Nyhaven, one of the most popular tourist areas, it's a manmade canal lined with ships and the most adorable buildings you've ever seen. Despite the temperatures, tourists huddled under the blankets provided by the bars and cafes and braved the cold to enjoy lunch outside. We hung out there quite a bit, as it was down the street from our hotel, and also, four of the five days we were there it was a national holiday, so tourist areas were some of the few establishments open. It was cold, but the sun shined to reveal the rainbow of color around the city. Lots more photos to come next week.
