The Story Hotel

In Stockholm we stayed in the sweetest little hotel, called Story.  The location was perfect, the bar was amazing and the restaurant was delicious.  My one gripe was that the rooms were quite small, I guess you can expect that from European hotels, but what it lacked in space, it made up for in design.  Everywhere I looked there were incredibly special details.

Description from the website says ~
  • The interior design of Story Hotel is inspired by worn down New York restaurants and chic bohemian hotels in Paris, mixed with the spirit of the progressive musicians and artists that used to live in the building. Story Hotel is a personal and urban hotel with a jazzy soul - unmatched in Stockholm.

Our room.

I was obsessed with the bathroom in our room.  The hanging light, the mirror and all the brass hardware  made the perfect combo that will surely go into my permanent inspiration files.

Brass brass, everywhere!  The fabulous art is available here.

That restaurant decor is so so good.

Seriously, if anyone knows where I can get this brass mail holder, I really need it.

This wasn't our room, but I am in love.

The ceiling in the bar is strung with twinkle lights and the walls of the bar were decorated with fabulous fashion photographs by photographer, Stian Andersen.

It was freezing while we were there, so the yard wasn't open, but I wish it were, it looks so charming.

Tomorrow I will share my shopping guide for Stockholm.
