DIY Bright Linen Dress

As I continue to work towards my goal of sewing a garment a month for the entire year, there are times you sew something and it comes out perfectly, and times it goes so wrong that you never even finish.  This dress, thankfully was the first.  With only a few minor tweaks, it came out beautifully!  Considering I sketched it over a year ago, I probably should have got to work on this piece a few months ago, but procrastinated until the end of the summer.  The good news is that the happy blue linen goes great with a tan.  And the low back is perfectly complimented by my favorite bralette.  I will happily wear this comfy, cute dress right through Indian summer.
