Wedding Wednesday (Queen Anne's Lace)

I am so excited that wild flowers are taking over in the wedding world.  And one flower in particular that I remember learning about as a little girl, Queen Anne's Lace, is making a huge comeback!!  I think that sometimes people see this feminine beauty as weed.  But I love the sweet story behind the Daucus Carota.  Queen Anne was tatting (the lost art of making lace by hand), which became the white lacy flower of the wild carrot plant, and she pricked her finger.  The one single red dot you see on some, but not all of the flowers, is the drop of blood.  This wispy white bloom is finding it's way of of it's rustic pigeon hole and becoming modern again.
