Checking off my Summer Bucket List // Storm King

This past weekend I ticked the first item off my summer bucket list, me and the boys took a ride up to Storm King, a 500 acre sculpture park and widely celebrated as one of the world's best.  It wasn't the most economical summer activity, at $18 a person to enter, but it was an amazing, must see for anyone in the area.  Since it's not right near the train station it's not super simple to get to from New York City, but they offer a few different packages to get you in the door, check out the website for more info.  Once you're there, you can rent a bike, or just stroll around the beautiful grounds and take in the art.

If you are bringing your kids, I would advise to plan for the day, pack a picnic (I would pack a picnic even if kids aren't involved), plenty of snacks and water.  We brought our wagon and it was key.  Ollie loved running around, but we strolled around for almost three hours, so the wheels were a necessity.  I saw some stressed parents, looking at our wagon with envy.  Be sure your camera and phone are fully charged, because I'm sure you'll want to snap a million pictures, because as you can see this place is so cool!!
