Wedding Wednesday (Bright Brooklyn Fete)

What do you get when you cross a talented artist/photographer/graphic designer, and a quirky gal who works in the fashion industry and has a sunny California disposition, with one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Brooklyn?  You get a bright, happy and super-fun wedding that's a perfect mix of rustic-glamour with a touch of Brooklyn.  I've been lucky enough to witness one of my best friends meet, fall in love and get engaged to a great man (who whisked her off to Paris the day after they got engaged!).   I am so happy for these two, who will be married at the Palm House at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens on October 4th.  Together with the bride, I put together this cheerful mood board to convey the look of the big day.

This is my kind of Craft Fair!

This weekend I made my way to McCarren Park for the Renegade Craft Fair. More stationary, jewelry and t-shirts than could fit in my bike basket to take home! With so many amazing things I had to be very selective.

I finally bought one of the letter press frame mats from Sycamore Street Press.

Also from Sycamore Street Press, I LOVED the this letter press fortune teller.

I could go for these fun t-shirts from Campfire Goods.

I bought this letter press card from Bicycle Paintings that reminds me so much of my own bike.

Finally, I picked up these sweet rings from another favorite vendor that I always love, Brooklyn jewelry designer, Erica Weiner.
