Weekend Rewind

Friday, a few friends and I attended the Governors Ball music festival on Randall's Island.  We made the best of it, but it was pretty much the worst weather you could have with out the show being canceled.  It rained the entire day, with out stopping for even a minute.  We weaseled our way into the VIP area, which provided us a tent with a bar and an area that hadn't yet become a complete mud pit.  Saturday, of course was much nicer, weather wise.  The hubs accompanied me to the Antiques Garage Flea Market, where it was an unsuccessful day, shopping wise.  Sunday was spent lazing at the park, working on a few blog projects and making a big dinner for just the two of us.

Wedding Wednesday (Our Engagement Caricature)

When we hired our Michigan-based photographer, I wasn't sure if we'd be able to do an engagement photo shoot, especially an engagement shoot we wanted, in our home, New York, so I came up with the idea of getting an engagement caricature done instead.  I have been talking about doing this for close to a year and this past weekend we finally took a walk to Central Park and sat for Whi Lee to do the three of us in caricature form.  Maggie was his first dog ever and he did a great job!!!
