This summer jumpsuits are the new dresses and I'm not sad about it. They can be casual or dressed up. Personally I like to wear mine as easy and casual weekend wear with classic sneakers and cute accessories. And while were talking about summer trends, this bag is everything! It's the "it" bag, it makes any outfit and at a $50 price tag, you basically can't afford not to have one! Hope you have a lovely weekend and scroll to the bottom for the weekends best sales!
Let me tell you a little bit about this bike of mine. Ever since studying abroad in Italy I knew it was my mission to own a one of these cute little scooters. I moved to New York and lived the young, fabulous and broke life. Buying a Vespa wasn't even a blip on my radar with my starting salary in the fashion industry. I thought to myself that when I have the means to buy a Vespa, I have made it! Flash forward five years, I took a motorcycle safety class on Easter in the pouring rain to get my license, and I made my dreams come true! I found her on Craigslist and next thing I know I was the proud owner of this black beauty with all her glory and her cute little trunk! This bike has been hands down the best thing I've ever purchased. Riding it around the city when I lived there made errands seem painless and my commute not only tolerable but, enjoyable! I love to share this baby with anyone that will hop on and take a ride.
These days my Vespa mostly takes me to the train station and back home, but makes for an extremely affordable second vehicle for our family. I don't know how much long I will have this bike in my life, but for the moment, I get to feel a little like a dude who just bought his midlife crisis convertible as I cruse threw downtown Peekskill.

Remember a couple weeks back, I styled that beautiful silk camisole for date night? Well, I'm back with another versatile piece from the DeSmet NYC collection. Today I'm wearing a fabulous linen tunic for a summer bike ride. Besides being incredibly well made, I love the styling options that this garment provides. Here I'm wearing it as an easy dress, made extra chic with a panama hat, but it would be so charming worn over a button up shirt for a jumper look. Either way, looking at these photos has me itching to get out of my office and have a summer adventure!
