Over the knee boots have been a staple in my wardrobe for quite some time, and I think it's about time that they are trending in a big way. I love that they can be worn with cut offs and a sweater for a sexy, casual look, they can be worn over jeans or with shirt dress for a polished look. Stuart Weitzman blew up the streets in 2015 with his version, now there are a slew of choices at many price points and in varying styles, scroll down to see my favorites of the season.
I remember the first time I saw someone sporting this look, baggy boy friend jeans with clogs. I remember thinking that it looked so cool, maybe because it was something I hadn't seen before. This was 2009. I remember because she wasn't a fashion girl, no, she was the woman that taught my puppy obedience class. She sported an ASPCA tee with boyfriend jeans, before they were even called boyfriend jeans, and a pair of classic clogs. And I had a girl crush on her. I have always been a clog gal myself, but it took until about three years ago to get on the boyfriend jean train. I kind of forgot how much I loved this combo, until I passed a girl on the street rocking it, and I fell in love all over again. Bet you can't guess what I'm wearing today.

This is the summer of fun and crazy sandals, and I, for one, am very excited! As the weather gets warmer and toes start to come out, you will see many dressed to the nines in pom poms, tassels and bows. There is an embellished sandal for everyone, from metallics to neons and even a version for the minimalist. I personally love the neutral tassel sandals, especially these Loeffler Randall babies. And I also love the giant oversized bows, like the soft pink knot by Paloma Barcelo. Have you found your perfect summer sandal. Keep scrolling for my picks.
